So, we haven't posted in the last four weeks because Angie returned to work and Maddie began attending daycare. Just when we were getting used to our routine, it got switched up again!

Here is Maddie bundled up for "school." (It happened to be a warm February day when this was taken, so she was glad to go without a hat!)

And she was SO TIRED after her first day at daycare, that she fell asleep pretty much the moment Andy held her. Here, her pacifier is hanging out of her mouth as she sleeps.

Madeline does really enjoy daycare, even though it wears her out. She has a couple of babies in her classroom, all the same age as her. Apparently they love to lie on the mat together and watch bubbles or kick at a beach ball or just babble to each other. It sounds like so much fun! (P.S. Angie really likes her job and is enjoying being back, too.)

And here is the most recent picture of Madeline. It's pretty easy to make her smile, and we love it when she grins like this. She is a happy girl!

This is about two weeks before Maddie was born. I really enjoyed my pregnancy, but I was getting pretty uncomfortable at this point.

Maddie loves hanging out with Dad. Also about 8 or 9 weeks old.

Maddie loves her play gym (and the Bears!). She starts to squeel and kick her legs almost as soon as we lay her down in it. Her favorite part is the star that lights up and plays music.

So here is a little information about Madeline. She was born on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 4:16 am at 8 lb. 1 oz. and 18.5 inches. Maddie likes to eat, play in her Baby Einstein play gym, stick out her tongue, and listen to music. She coos and has developed her social smile -- a grin that melts our hearts!
